Photo mood boards

A few examples of my photography of light and colour, I really enjoyed experimenting with this theme and have more ideas that could be used. For example, Over easter I intend to either wake up and arrive at my village church before sunrise or rahter at sunset which is probably more likely as we as students are of a nocturnal nature. Anyway I want to photogragh the light through the stain glass windows, hence light and multiple colour. I think this will be a real success. Watch this space.

Here's a mood board I put together that I feel portrays an insight into part of my identity. For example, I have used photographs that are of intrinsic value to myself. Whether it be in showing a place I've visited, friends i've made or work i've produced. They all contribute to my personal identity.

Ideas for my enviroment!

There is a clear contrast between this photograph I have taken of the sunset out of my room at Norton and the others below. Firstly I feel that the colours evoke totally different feelings and the focal points are different. The subtle sky blue colour portrays the feeling of peace and relaxation whereas the deeper orange colours are more moody and upfront. The focal points of the photos are also different as the dark sunset lead the eye into the distance and gives a sense of depth and meaning. Whereas the lighter photos taken at midday don't particuarly have a specific focal point as it is of neutral coulour.

This was taken In Nakuru national reserve whilst I was in Kenya over the summer. For me its one of the most breathtaking views I had ever laid my eyes upon. Its one of those places that if you could you would wish your self back to. Regarding my passion for the outdoors I think it be the most appropriate environment for avatar. Since I've lived in Nottingham I've certainly missed living in the countryside.

This photo was taking from our house where we were staying in Uganda that overlooked the rive Nile.
